Yorkos

Giorgos Kyriakou—better known on stage as Yorkos—is an actor, stand-up comedian and the founder of Stantar Kkomety. His comedy moves between English and Cypriot Greek, always with one foot in local life and the other testing how Cyprus looks to the rest of the world.

His solo work mixes storytelling, cultural observation and playful confrontation: halloumi, identity, family, the division and the island’s expressive drivers all have a way of finding the microphone.
